MailMerge.SMS.org.my allows you to send SMS to many people at once, with variations in the text to allow you to customize each email to be tailored to each recipient's profile.

To do this you will need a CSV (Comma Seperated Value) file containing the Phone numbers name, and other pertinent information that you might want to include in the text message.

You can save a CSV file from a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel, or Open Office Calc. or you can create a text file containing text such as:

		  John Doe,00447866069537
		  Bob Dillon,00447823456786
		  William hayes,00447866054765
		 

It doesn't matter what order the columns are in, because when you upload your CSV file it will ask you to name each of the columns. Included options are Email, Phone Number, First Name, Second Name, etc. At least one of the columns must be a mobile phone number in international format (00 + Country code + Local number)

After pressing the "Finish" button, you will be brought back to the main screen, with a new option "Insert dynamic text", By selecting an option, such as "First Name" from the drop down list, and pressing the button, a field "#First Name#" will appear in your SMS. When sending out the Text messages, this text will be replaced by the information you uploaded in your CSV file.

Before sending you must have an account with FreebieSMS and have it topped up with enough funds from Paypal to cover the costs of sending your SMS.
